Forest of Arden, A Marriott Hotel,
Golf & Country Club
Meriden, Warwickshire
Two outstanding courses
Great choice for golf or spa break
Fantastic hotel facilities
Former European Tour host venue
Accommodation
Forest of Arden sits at the heart
of the country, with much to offer
beyond accessibility. This is arguably
the flagship golf venue within the
Marriott group and, like its fellow
Marriott Hotels and Country
Clubs, the facilities, service and
accommodation are exemplary.
You’ll want for nothing here, and
probably not want to leave, either.
Golf
Our very own Darren Clarke is one
name on the list of illustrious past
winners of tour events at Forest of
Arden. DC’s two triumphs in the
English Open are highlights on the
Arden Course’s awesome resumé,
and you have the chance to follow
in the most famous footsteps by
simply making this Marriott resort
your next golf break venue.

Abbey Hotel Golf & Spa
Redditch, Worcestershire
Regular county tournament host
Range of rooms with great views over 175-acre estate
Popular golf break venue
Superb access to Birmingham
Accommodation
A much-loved independent hotel
that lies just south of Birmingham,
the Abbey Hotel in Redditch is a
haven for golfers. The 100 guest
rooms are finished and furnished to
a good four-star standard. Views of
the course and its rural surroundings
are fantastic, as is the cuisine in the
excellent Bramblings Restaurant.
Golf
Now well matured, the Donald Steel
designed course at the Abbey Hotel
was inaugurated in the late 1970’s
and is a championship course that’s
among the area’s best. A two-tier,
28-
bay driving range gives insight
into the quality of facilities, and the
course is a wonderful blend of true
challenge and charming country
setting on the River Arrow banks.
