Challenge Tour, but the highlight for

Islantilla came in 1995 when it was

chosen to welcome the PGA European

Tour’s best for the Turespana Masters,

won by Alex Cejka. This rise to promi-

nence was underlined in the year 2000,

when the respected publication, Golf

Digest, included Islantilla in its list of

Europe’s top 100 golf courses.

The course is divided into three distinct

nine-hole loops, adding plenty of

variety. Known as the Yellow, Green and

Blue courses, all three afford golfers

amazing sea views, set against the

backdrop of the beautiful pine forest

that adorns the cliff-top landscape. This

that will challenge even the best players.
