Despite the number of golf holes on offer here, the
hotel is actually quite modest in size with just 107 rooms. It
is not short on quality though and in addition to a private
balcony or terrace, most rooms provide terrific views over
the swimming pool or the golf courses and hills.
The exterior reflects the traditional styles and colours of
Andalucia, giving way to majestic views of the surrounding
hills, helping to reinforce the sophisticated atmosphere of
the resort.
Mijas Costa is a short transfer from Malaga Airport, and
many of the popular coastal towns are within easy reach,
while back on the resort, guests will enjoy the intimate La
Cala ambience.
Golf
La Cala Golf Resort boasts 54 challenging holes plus Spain’s
only David Leadbetter Golf Academy.
America Course

is a picturesque challenge with a par
of 72. Regarded by many as the most difficult of La Cala’s
three, the America is a true gem.
Resort Course

is considered by most to be a less
demanding challenge, but it is no less entertaining, asking
numerous strategic questions and calling for accuracy above
all else.
Europa Course

The youngest at La Cala, the Europa is
already extremely popular. Golfers will encounter the River
Ojen on a number of occasions.
