Patshull Park’s superb championship course was
designed by the revered John Jacobs, and is
carved through the mature, towering trees that
characterise the landscape. The rooms in the
hotel are designed to be spacious and
comfortable, with fine views over the golf course.
The layout at Telford was originally called the
Great Hay GC, but has now been assimilated
into the resort, offering visitors an excellent
parkland experience.There has been substantial

Sam Torrance’s 18th hole heroics in the
1985
and the jubilant Paul McGinley sinking
the winning putt in 2002 are undisputed
parts of Ryder Cup legend, and a golf
